Absolutely! You may subscribe on behalf of a grandchild, godchild, niece, nephew or friend’s child. That said, this offering will require the support of an at-home guardian. Discuss your intentions with the child's family to see if this gift feels right for them.

HOW DO I INTRODUCE FAERY PEN PALS TO MY CHILD?  

This is where your creative genius gets to shine. A simple intro is often best. You might ask your child if they'd like to be friends with a woodland faery. If the subscription is a gift, perhaps the giver has a special connection to the faery realm? Alternatively, the first letter to your child could appear in your mailbox just like magic. 

CAN SIBLINGS SHARE A SUBSCRIPTION?

Individual pen pal journeys will be more personal and expansive for children able to read and write on their own. For younger children, a shared subscription can work well. Please reach out by email to determine which option would best serve your family.

DOES FAERY ROSE RESPOND DIRECTLY TO MY CHILD'S LETTERS?

Yes! That being said, children are encouraged to write Faery Rose within 2 weeks of receiving her letters. To honor the gentle yet steady pace of this offering (i.e. monthly correspondence), Faery Rose must receive your child's letter within 3 weeks in order to respond directly to your child through her next letter.

WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN’T WRITE BACK?

The experience of receiving faery mail will be magical and enriching to most children regardless of whether they write back. Although your child's participation is encouraged, it is not necessary. Faery Rose will continue sending a minimum of one letter per month until the subscription is fulfilled. Guardians are encouraged to assist children who are still learning to read and write on their own. 

WILL I KNOW WHEN MY CHILD HAS MAIL COMING?

Yes! Guardians will receive notification by text or email when their child's letters are in transit. Communication between faery and guardian is essential for optimal pen pal experience.
